开福酒庄是一个家族式酒庄。因宁夏招商引资，庄主樊建忠举家来到宁夏建设酒庄，从此一家人便驻扎在了这片土地，以“开福”取名也是将家的祝福念在了这里。樊建忠管理这个酒庄的大小事务，上到酒庄建设，下到葡萄园种植，都是他一手操持，因为自家的葡萄树比较年轻，酒庄也签约其他拥有老树龄的葡萄园。
酒庄聘请飞行酿酒师李春光作为酿酒师，现有酒款品牌为“开福亦香”，酒标设计颇具中国风味，福气满满。
银川产区是宁夏最早集中发展精品酒庄的产区。靠近山脚的土壤类型为沙石土壤，砾石含量高，开发时需要大面积筛土和改良土壤。
Yinchuan region is the earliest wine region with premium wineries in Ningxia. The soil type which closes to Helan Mountain is sand soil and the content of gravel is high. It needs large areas of sifting and soil improvement when develops.
